Integrations / Carrd
Add your signup form to Carrd.
Use an Embed element. Carrd’s Embed element needs Pro Standard or higher.
Which snippet to use
The inline form in an Embed element set to Code and Inline. Or embed your signup page with the Embed element’s IFRAME type, which shows the full branded form.
Plan check
Carrd’s docs say the Embed element “Requires Pro Standard or higher.” Pro Lite and free sites don’t include embeds, so on those, link a button to your signup page instead.
Step by step
- Copy your inline form. In your Hollerpost dashboard, go to Audience → Signup forms, pick the form you want (or the default page), and click Copy code next to “Inline form for your website.” It looks like this:
<form method="POST" action="https://utopian-marketing-api.jmiller-580.workers.dev/api/marketing/signup/your-workspace" style="display:flex;gap:8px;max-width:420px"> <input type="hidden" name="form_id" value="your-form-id"> <input type="text" name="website" value="" style="display:none" tabindex="-1" autocomplete="off"> <input type="email" name="email" required placeholder="you@example.com" style="flex:1;padding:10px 12px;border:1px solid #ccc;border-radius:8px"> <button type="submit" style="padding:10px 16px;border:0;border-radius:8px;background:#4f46e5;color:#fff;font-weight:600"> Subscribe</button> </form>This is a placeholder. Copy yours from Audience → Signup forms in your dashboard.
- Add an Embed. In the Carrd builder, select Add Element, then Embed.
- Set it up. Set Type to Code and Style to Inline, which puts the code exactly where the element sits. (Hidden puts code in the page head or body and won’t show a form.)
- Paste your code into the Code field. Add a Label if you like, so you can find it later.
- Publish. Carrd says the embed element won’t show anything in the builder, so you need to publish to see it.
- Test it on the published site with your own email. You should show up in Audience in your dashboard.
Using the IFRAME type instead
Set Type to IFRAME, paste your signup page link into the URL field, and set the height to about 430 pixels. Copy the link from Audience → Signup forms, “Hosted signup page”:
https://utopian-marketing-api.jmiller-580.workers.dev/api/marketing/signup/your-workspace?f=your-form-id
This is a placeholder. Copy yours from Audience → Signup forms in your dashboard.
What happens when someone signs up
They land in your audience with their consent recorded (where they signed up and when), tagged signup-form plus any tags you set on the form. If the form asks for email confirmation, they join once they click the link we send them. With the inline form, the thank-you message opens on your Hollerpost signup page; with the iframe, it shows right inside the box.
If it doesn’t show up
- Nothing in the builder. That’s expected. Embeds only show on the published site.
- Nothing on the published site. Check the element’s Style is Inline, not Hidden, and that your site is on Pro Standard or Pro Plus.
- The form is cut off (IFRAME type). Make the height bigger, especially if your form asks for a name or phone number.

Every step above was checked against Carrd’s own help pages. Site builders change their menus now and then; if a button has moved, these pages will have the current name.
