How the partner pilot works.
1. Apply for the pilot.
Tell us where you plan to share Hollerpost and who reads your work. We are keeping this pilot small: 3 to 5 hand-picked partners: so we can support each partner directly. Josh reviews every application himself.
2. Share your partner link.
Get your own partner link to share in your newsletter, website, client handoffs, or resources page. We store referral clicks for 60 days, and attribution works even for visitors browsing with JavaScript off.
3. Earn 20% for 12 months.
When a referral starts a paid subscription, you receive 20% of their subscription payments each month for 12 calendar months. Payouts go to your bank monthly through Stripe once you reach $25.
The open-book math.
Most affiliate programs hide behind fuzzy margins. We publish our exact costs so you can see where every dollar goes. Here is the math for each plan when a customer sends their full quota every month.
A worked example: Starter.
On the Starter plan ($15/mo), the customer pays $15.00. Stripe processing and billing fees take $1.37. Amazon SES costs $1.00 to send 10,000 emails. Your 20% partner commission is $3.00, leaving $9.63 for Hollerpost to cover servers, deliverability, support, and development.

Email and texts plans.
On Email + texts plans, partner commission is calculated on the matching email-only plan price (for example, Growth + texts earns 20% of standard Growth). Text message carrier fees and dedicated phone numbers are passed through directly.

The rules, in plain words.
Payout schedule and holds.
- 30-day hold: commissions clear 30 days after each invoice payment so transactions are confirmed before payout.
- Monthly transfers: paid monthly to your bank through Stripe once you reach the $25 minimum threshold. Smaller balances carry over. Stripe collects your bank details and tax form (W-9 or W-8BEN) when you set up payouts; we never see them.
- Your dashboard: see your link, clicks, signups and earnings any time at app.hollerpost.com/partner.
- 12 calendar months: you earn 20% on every subscription payment your referral makes for 12 months from their first paid invoice.
- Reversals: if a referral requests a refund or disputes a charge, the matching commission is reversed from your balance.
Program eligibility and conduct.
- No stacking: partner commissions apply to standard plan pricing and do not stack with founding discounts or custom coupons.
- Web subscriptions only: commissions apply to web plans billed via Stripe. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are excluded during the pilot.
- Disclosure required: follow FTC rules. Disclose clearly and conspicuously that you earn a commission when someone uses your link.
- Clean sending gate: referred accounts must remain in good sending standing with verified domains to prevent spam abuse.
